Account Coordinator: Full-time position in hybrid work environment
Unique opportunity for a professional with marketing/comms experience to join our growing agency serving mission-oriented organizations
Diversity Marketing and Communications is an independent woman-owned agency specializing in marketing and communications services that encourage behavior change. We advise government agencies, non-governmental organizations, utilities, universities, and companies on projects that benefit people and the planet. Our work environment is hybrid: three days in our East Orange, NJ office to collaborate and consult with colleagues and two days remote. And our team is strategic, supportive, and fearless.
Diversity is growing and we’re currently hiring for an Account Coordinator who likes to stretch to try new things to grow with us.
As Account Coordinator you will:
- Own key project tasks required for client deliverables
- Support project managers in strategic communications planning, program development, digital communications, materials development, video production, media relations, campaign evaluation, and stakeholder outreach
- Implement communication strategies and tactics to reach and engage audiences to increase visibility of government data, programs, resources, and materials
- Assist creative services team with writing, editing, and graphic design of educational and promotional materials to support client and agency communication efforts
- Coordinate formative research and evaluation activities
- Provide administrative and logistics support across projects, including managing timelines, deliverables, and work plans, and developing meeting notes and monthly project reports
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communication/public relations, social sciences, business, liberal arts or equivalent
- 2+ years of communications experience, in-house or agency
- New Jersey residency
- Demonstrated experience with Hootsuite, Canva, and analytics for Google, Facebook, and Twitter
- Experience interacting with clients and facilitating their needs
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines at once
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, management skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively and resourcefully to provide innovative solutions to clients’ communications challenges/problems
