    Outreach and Partnerships Manager: Full-time position in hybrid work environment

    Unique opportunity for professional with outreach/planning/marketing experience to join growing agency serving government and public agencies

    Diversity Marketing and Communications is an independent woman-owned agency specializing in public outreach and communications. We advise government agencies, non-governmental organizations, utilities, and universities on projects that benefit people and the planet. Our work environment is hybrid: three days in our East Orange, NJ office to collaborate and consult with colleagues and two days remote. Our team is strategic, supportive, and fearless.

    Diversity is growing and we’re currently hiring for a Community Engagement Manager to lead this important function for client projects.

    As Community Engagement Manager, you will:

    • Cultivate relationships with community organizations, national associations, and non-profits
    • Develop and execute strategies to tap these relationships to raise awareness and encourage participation in important public programs
    • Assist with development of outreach and marketing materials
    • Coordinate formative research and evaluation activities
    • Provide administrative and logistics support across projects, including managing timelines, deliverables, and work plans, meeting minutes, and monthly project reports

    To be considered for this position, you will have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in planning/marketing/communication/social sciences, business, liberal arts or equivalent
    • 3+ years of community outreach/engagement experience, in-house or agency
    • New Jersey residency
    • Demonstrated experience with SharePoint, Canva, and analytics for Google, Facebook, and Twitter
    • Experience interacting with clients and facilitating their needs
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines at once
    • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, management skills, and attention to detail
    • Ability to think creatively and resourcefully to provide innovative solutions to clients’ communications challenges/problems
